Silver Service Waiting

SohoBoyz is working with the Student Support Centre & City Gates Church to provide a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL training workshop to help develop Silver Service waiting skills for sex workers.


This workshop will help you develop skills to improve your English and learn how to provide a Silver Service (serving the food to dinners / guests on their plate).


The benefits of having Silver Service skills:


  1. •You can join an agency and work flexible hours, often at corporate functions

  2. •Silver Service often pays better hourly rates than normal waiting

  3. •If your English isn’t great, you don’t need to have a big vocabulary to serve guests, unlike taking a food order when waiting tables


Each workshop covers:


  1. •Menu terms

  2. •Styles of function

  3. •Drinks

  4. •Plated service

  5. •Silver service & serving from a large platter

  6. •Set up of a table for a la carte & function settings

  7. •Carrying plates & clearing dishes

  8. •Hygiene sense
