These workshops are led by Cheyne Towers (pictured above), who works with a variety of simple yet highly effective methods of natural therapy, in order to provide the right approach for the needs of each individual, whether its for self development, physical health and fitness or self-protection.
Cheyne’s approach towards self-defence is based upon strategies and principles of movement from Taiii, Qigong, Kung-Fu, Kali and Silat.
All classes focus on the following:
•Simple, practical techniques for self-protection
•Fast, accurate and decisive reflexes
•Natural, whole-body movement
•Development of inner-strength and the ability to apply it.
No previous martial arts experience necessary. Gain greater self-confidence whilst training in a fun and safe environment.
The workshops are FREE & CONFIDENTIAL, and designed for people working in the sex industry. Wear gym or work out type clothing.
The workshops will be held at St Anne’s Church Community Hall (55, Dean Street - see map), and the Soho Centre for Health, on the corner of Firth Street and Soho Square.
