Introduction
to Massage
This workshop will provide a basic introduction to massage for male and transgender sex workers.
This may help you develop news skills, offering clients a better service, and therefore adding to the service you are able to offer, reducing the actual time required to provide sexual services.
The workshop will be facilitated by Rachel Farrow.
Rachel is a clinical and sports injury therapist. She qualified in 1998 and worked initially with sports clubs to establish her private practice. She still maintains these contacts through her original clients but now has concentrated more on people who will benefit from clinical therapy , thus helping clients with their postural disorders, repetitive strain injuries and other day to day injuries.
The workshop will cover:
• a short introduction by Rachel to explain about the work that she does and the satisfaction gained from it
• the physiological effects of massage
• demonstration of how to achieve the most effective massage
• step by step methodological demonstration, followed by participants working in pairs to understand the basics
• information about access to formal courses
• plenary/questions time
The workshop will run on Monday 7th December from 6 - 8pm
PLEASE NOTE THIS WORKSHOP IS CANCELLED
The workshop will be held at the Soho Centre for Health, corner of Firth Street and Soho Square, in the Conference Room, on the first floor.
